Routing Requests

  1. When shipments are in Planned status, Routing request will be sent to customer through EDI

Mandatory Fields for Routing

The below fields are mandatory for sending routing request

  1. Carrier Pick Up - This is the Freight Ready date
  2. Carrier PickUp time - This is the Freight Ready time
  3. Total Weight - System will calculate this if items have unit weight
  4. Weight UOM
  5. Packaging type code - Pallet or Carton
  6. No of Packages
  7. Total Volume
  8. Volume UOM - CFT (Cubiic Feet) or CIN (Cubic Inches)
  9. Stackable - Yes or No
  10. Freight Class code - This is the class code assigned by Amazon to you. For example 75

Fields needed for Routing Request

Email alert

If some fields are filled up and some fields not filled up, system will send an alert that not able to send routing request as shown above

Routing Assignment Confirmation

  1. When customer (For example Amazon) assigns a Routing carrier, TPSynergy will be updated with the carrier name ( for example LTL EXLA) automatically and an email alert will be sent that the carrier has been assigned
  2. This email will say which carrier has been assigned with the routing request

Routing assigned in TPSynergy

When routing carrier is assigned, TPSynergy will be updated with the Customer Reference Number ( Amazon ARN) and Carrier name
